Ottawa 9, Shikoku Island 8 - Box Score
Right fielder Jiandido Tromp's two-run single in the bottom of the eighth inning gave Ottawa the lead for good as the Champions defeated Shikoku Island on Canada Day, 9-8.

The score would remain the same until the top of the eighth when Shikoku Island brought a run across and took back the lead at 8-7. This advantage did not last for long as Tromp's single in the bottom of the inning gave Ottawa the lead for good.
