Ottawa 8, Trois-Rivieres 4

Ottawa scored five runs in the fourth inning to take a 7-0 lead and would from cruise from there to an 8-4 victory over Trois-Rivieres. The Champions banged out 13 hits in the contest with four batters having multi-hit games. Ottawa RF Steve Brown went 3-for-4 with a run and two RBIs while CF Chase Harris scored a run and drove in one in a 2-for-4 night. Second baseman Tyler Nordgren and C Zak Colby each had a pair of hits for the Champions.

Starting pitcher Jordan Kurokawa allowed two earned runs over five innings of work to nab the win for Ottawa. Kurokawa allowed four walks and eight hits to go along with his two strikeouts. The righty is now 3-3 on the season.

For the Aigles in the loss, 1B Kevin Cornelius went 3-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and an RBI.
