New Jersey 3, Worcester 1 (4 1/2 Innings)
New Jersey starting pitcher Isaac Pavlik wins his seventh game of the season as the Jackals beat the Worcester Tornadoes, 3-1 in a game shortened to 4 1/2 innings due to rain. Pavlik went five innings allowing an earned run on three hits with no walks and four strikeouts. New Jersey was led offensively by C Jeff Lanning who had two hits and two RBI and 3B Nick Giarraputo who scored a run in a 1-for-2 effort. For Worcester in defeat, C Chris Torres scored the team's only run and went 1-for-2.
