
Can-Am League Early Game Recap

Newark 8, New York 2
The Newark Bears rallied from a early 2-0 deficit to beat the New York Federals 8-2 and complete the five game sweep. Bears CF Tim Raines, Jr. led the offense going 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBIs. DH Brandon Watson and RF Danny Santiesteban also chipped in with two hits apiece for Newark. Bears starting pitcher Jesse Estrada evened his record at 1-1 with the win after allowing two runs on three hits in six innings pitched.
