Camden Riversharks News Release
Camden, NJ- The Camden Riversharks have announced as part of their partnership with New York Life, to offer a free Child ID program for families. The Child ID program provided by the Camden Riversharks and New York Life gives families with children identification materials that may prove critical should an emergency occur.
The Riversharks have always provided a strong family atmosphere at Campbell's Field and can now offer a sense of security for families as well. According to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children a total of 800,000 children in America are reported missing each year. New York Life and the Riversharks hope that with the initiation of this program we can work to reduce these numbers.
"This is a fantastic program for the Riversharks to become involved with," General Manager Adam Lorber said, "We plan to reach even more families than just those who attend our games as well," he added.
New York Life has already given Child ID's to a multitude of children and will be continuing to provide this service on Friday, September 17th at 7:05pm and Saturday, September 18th at 5:35pm to help more families safeguard their children.
The Riversharks will return home Monday, September 13th for their final seven game homestand. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit www.riversharks.com or call 1-866-SHARKS-9.
