Medicine Hat, AB - Kris Foucault (FOO-co) scored at 18:17 of overtime to give the Calgary Hitmen a 3-2 win over the Medicine Hat Tigers in Game 6 Sunday night.
The victory gives the Hitmen a 4-2 series triumph in their best-of-seven with the Tigers and propels Calgary into the Western Hockey League's Eastern Conference Final.
Foucault also forced sudden death scoring the tying goal with 2:07 remaining in the third period.
Joel Broda supplied the other Calgary goal while Emerson Etem and Tristan King replied for Medicine Hat.
The Hitmen outshot the Tigers 46-27 including 9-7 in overtime.
Calgary will now face the winner of the Saskatoon Blades / Brandon Wheat Kings series. Brandon holds a 3-2 lead with Game 6 tonight (Monday) in Saskatoon.
