Caleb Maher named Arizona Division player of the week

MESA, ARIZONA –The Golden Baseball League announced today that Mesa Miners outfielder/first baseman Caleb Maher was named Arizona Division player of the week.

During the first week of the season, Maher went 15-for-35 (.429) with 12 RBI.Å¡ The 6-foot-2,Å¡ 215 pound righty currently leads the GBL in home runs (4) and is third in the league in batting average (.455).Å¡ Maher is also second in the league in RBI (15), hits (20), extra-base hits (8), and slugging (.818).Å¡

Other honors included Yuma Scorpion's pitcher Jared Terrebone who was named Arizona Division pitcher of the week, and Chico Outlaw's third baseman Ryan Lehr along with Fullerton Flyer's pitcher Jeff Groeger were winners in the California Division.
