
Fan Appreciation Day to be held

MESA, ARIZONA -The Mesa Miners will host their first ever Fan Appreciation Day as they take on the Surprise Fightin' Falcons on August 20 at 6:05pm. This will be the final home game for the Miners during their inaugural season at HoHoKam Park.
The first 500 fans through the gate will receive a "mystery" bobblehead consisting of Rickey Henderson, Pat Sajak, or the Golden Baseball League's mascot Nugget. Also, each fan entering the gate will receive a raffle ticket with various prizes given away throughout the game. Prizes include team autographed baseballs, Mesa Miners merchandise, a chance to throw out a ceremonial first pitch, and 2006 season tickets.
The Miners finish the regular season on the road in San Diego and Yuma as they prepare for the GBL playoffs in Long Beach starting on September 2. For regular season and post-season ticket information, fans can visit www.MesaMiners.com.
