MONDAY'S RECAPS
Toronto 3, Rochester 0 - After playing 12 consecutive one-goal games against the Rochester Americans this season, the Toronto Marlies finally won in convincing fashion to move onto the second round of the American Hockey League playoffs. The Marlies swept the Americans with a 3-0 road win on Monday in Game 3 of their best-of-five first round series. Center Philippe Dupuis, left wing Jerry D'Amigo and center Nazem Kadri scored for the Marlies. Toronto's netminder Ben Scrivens (3-0) earned his third victory and first AHL playoff shutout with 29 saves. Americans goaltender Dave Leggio (0-3) took his third loss with 23 saves on 26 shots. Toronto went 0-for-5 on the power play. Rochester was 0-for-4 with the man advantage.
