Calder Cup Finals Set

Milwaukee Admirals News Release
Milwaukee Admirals Executive Vice President/General Manager Phil Wittliff announced today that the Admirals schedule for the AHL Calder Cup Finals versus the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins has been set. The Admirals office will be open Sunday, May 29 from 9 am to noon for fans to purchase tickets.
Games 1 and 2 of the series will be at the Bradley Center on Tuesday, June 1 and Wednesday June 2. Puck drop for both games is slated for 7 pm. The two teams will travel to WBS for games 3 and 4 on June 4 and 6. If necessary the squads would play game 5 in Wilkes/Barre on Monday, June 7 before returning to Milwaukee for games 6 and 7 on Friday, June 11 and Saturday, June 12. Should the series return to the Bradley Center, both games would begin at 7 pm.
The appearance in the finals is just the second in team history for the Admirals. In 1982-83 the team lost in the IHL's Turner Cup Finals to the Toledo Goaldiggers four games to two. Ironically, that Toledo team was led by now Milwaukee bench boss Claude Noel.
