Cal Christner Commits to Steelheads

Mississauga Steelheads News Release
The Steelheads are pleased to announce that forward Cal Christner has committed to the team and entered into a standard player agreement. Christner was selected by the Mississauga Steelheads in the ninth round, (164th overall) of the 2017 OHL Priority Selection.
The 6'1" forward from New Hamburg, Ontario spent the 2016/17 season with the Waterloo Wolves where he recorded 20 points (10 goals and 10 assists) in 31 games, leading his team to the OHL Cup where he added another goal in four games. Christner spent the 2017/18 season with the Stratford Warriors where he registered 13 points (7 goals, 6 assists) in 41 games.
The Steelheads are thrilled to welcome Cal and the Christner family to the team.
