
C Chad Noble rejoins Tennessee's roster; C Lance Rymel sent back to Low-A Boise

KODAK, Tenn. - The Chicago Cubs announced several transactions that impact their Double-A affiliate Tennessee Smokies. C Chad Noble has been added to the Tennessee's active roster. In a corresponding roster move, C Lance Rymel has been sent to the Class Low-A Boise Hawks.
The Smokies roster is at 25 active players, which is the Southern League maximum.
Noble, 25, comes back for his second stint with the Smokies in 2013. In 22 games with Tennessee, the right-handed catcher holds a .250 batting average (19-for-76) with four doubles and five RBIs. The Rockwall, Texas native was selected in the 37th round of the 2010 draft out of Northwestern University.
Rymel, 23 hit .167 (1-for-6) with a RBI in two limited stays with the Smokies. The Broken Arrow, Okla. native was drafted by the Cubs in the 28th round of the 2012 draft out of Rogers State University in Claremore, Okla.
