Barons Return To Regions Field For 10-Game Homestand

Birmingham, AL - The Birmingham Barons return to Regions Field on Thursday, July 18th to begin a 10-game homestand with five games against the Chattanooga Lookouts, Double-A Affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers and five games with the Mobile Baybears, Double-A Affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The homestand begins with the first of two Thirsty Thursday's at Regions Field presented by Miller Lite and Woodbridge where fans can enjoy 16 oz. beverages for just $2!

We'll kick-off the weekend on Friday with a Kids Jersey giveaway to the first 1,500 children in attendance courtesy of Coca-Cola. Following the game, fans will be treated to a post-game fireworks spectacular presented by Coca-Cola, Alabama Power and Glowble Lighting. The fun continues on Saturday with a replica Regions Field giveaway to the first 1,000 adults in attendance courtesy of Regions. The Barons will also give away a grill during the game courtesy of All-South Appliance.

On Sunday the Barons and DRASH salute the men and woman of our Nation's Armed Forces by wearing special camouflage jerseys followed by YP Monday at Regions Field.

On Tuesday, the Barons will feature their third givewaway of the homestand with a commemorative inaugural season puzzle for the first 1,000 fans in attendance courtesy of Little Debbie. Fans can also enjoy 50-cent Hot Dogs all night long presented by Kayem Foods, MINI of Birmingham and the Birmingham Zoo. Tuesday's are also Social Media nights at Regions Field featuring special social media driven promotions and activities during the game.

Thursday marks the second Thirsty Thursday of the homestand as the Barons also celebrate Christmas in July at the ballpark! Get into the holiday spirit while enjoying $2 beverages courtesy of Miller Lite and Woodbridge.

The final weekend of the homestand begins Friday with another post-game fireworks show courtesy of Coca-Cola, Alabama Power and Glowble Lighting. The homestand concludes Saturday with Football Kick-Off Night at Regions Field. The game will feature special appearances by Aubie, Big Al and Blaze in addition to the voice of Alabama Football, Eli Gold and the voice of Auburn Football Rod Bramblett.

Former University of Alabama player Tyrone Prothro will be in attendance and will be available for autographs and photos courtesy of Travelers Insurance. The Barons will also give away another grill during the game courtesy of All-South Appliance. Following the game, fans will have the opportunity to take part in a Diamond Dig on the field presented by Diamonds Direct.
