Orlando City SC News Release

10 - Seconds to score

LAFC will be well-acquainted with Orlando City captain Nani, and not just for his incredible career exploits. After scoring the opener at Exploria Stadium last year, LAFC were stunned by Nani's blistering kickoff goal, scored just 10 seconds after the ball was initially played.

15 and 3 - Offense vs. Defense

LAFC have scored an incredible 15 goals in four games throughout the MLS is Back Tournament, with seven coming from young Uruguayan winger Diego Rossi. Orlando City could very well be their toughest test on the other end, though-the Lions have conceded just three goals in the tournament, second-best among the eight quarterfinalists behind Philadelphia.

103 - Joao all over

Orlando City left back Joao Moutinho was everywhere in City's last game against Montreal, leading the side with a staggering 103 touches in the contest. Moutinho also led Orlando City with four tackles, ten ball recoveries, and 82 passes, which he completed at a strong 88% clip.

97.5% - Rosell on the mark

Uri Rosell's resurgence has been a major story for Orlando City during the MLS is Back tournament. The Catalan playmaker, who struggled through injury through his first two years in purple, has played nearly the whole tournament in a key defensive midfield role for Oscar Pareja, and he might have had his best performance as a Lion in the Round of 16 against Montreal. Rosell completed 80 of 82 passes overall, with nearly half of those passes coming in the opposing half. His 97.5% completion percentage in that area, 39 out of 40, led both teams, while only Nani (56), Mauricio Pereyra (43), and Moutinho (41) attempted more passes in the Impact half.
