Orange County, CA. The Spin Master is coming to Orange County. Get ready! Eric Holmes AKA "The Spin Master" and the Orange County Buzz professional basketball team agreed to terms. "Having a guard that plays like Spin is a blessing from the sky. From the point guard spot he can pass the rock, play defense and run his team. From the shooting guard spot, he can shoot the three, guard a bigger guard and even post up," said Buzz GM Burrel Lee III.

Holmes attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham for two years after attending Pasadena City College. As a senior, he led both his team and the conference in scoring. He has worked out with NBA teams and played with the 2003 ABA Tiujuana Diablos. He has also played in Italy and France.

Spin is currently a member of the AND1 Mixtape Streetball team. This past summer he joined the AND1 tour for the first half of the summer and proved to be such a valuable player that he earned a contract to be one of the newest AND1 members. He actually cam into the tour three seasons ago as a player on the opposing team.

Spin earned his street name because of his signature Spin moves. Prior to that he was known as E. Holmes until the City of Los Angeles decided he should be renamed the Spin Master.

"I am excited to be playing with the Buzz. Playing along side Keith Closs, Cedric Ceballos and others will be great. I believe playing with the team that Burrel is putting together will help me reach my ultimate goal of getting an NBA call up," says Holmes.
