July 10, 2006 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Maywood Buzz News Release
Long Beach, CA - The Buzz came up short in their bid to win back to back games in the LA NBA Summer Pro League.
"We played with the same intensity as Saturday morning on the defensive side, but tonight our shoots wouldn't fall" stated Head Coach/GM Burrel Lee III. Lee added "This is the summer and we are working with some new guys. They play well as a team and we just didn't have the offense. We will regroup as we prepare for Wednesday night game with Hoosier Daddy at 7:30pm".
The Buzz was lead by rookies Terrell Hendricks & Andrew Morris (11pts each), veterans Darren Little & James Williams (10pts each) and rookies Lanere Anderson, Joe Cantu & Chad Thornton-King (8pts each).
