Boise, Idaho - The Boise Burn announced today it will not renew head coach Lee Leslie's contract for a third af2 season.
"We are grateful to Lee for getting the Burn established and building a strong footprint for the team in the community," said Eric Trapp, President of Idaho Sports Properties. "Lee's a talented coach with aspirations to reach a higher level and we wish him every success in his future endeavors."
Leslie led the team to 8-8 records, narrowly missing the playoffs, in each of its two seasons.
The Burn will begin searching for Leslie's replacement immediately. The 2009 schedule has not yet been released.
