Amarillo Bulls News Release
AMARILLO, TX - Five and counting...
That's the number of titles the Amarillo Bulls have collected in their short three years in the North American Hockey League.
Number five was certainly alive on Saturday night as the Amarillo Bulls wrapped up their second straight South Division Regular Season title beating their arch rival Topeka RoadRunners 6-1 in front of a crowd of better than 3,000 fans.
The Bulls have clinched home ice advantage throughout the South Division playoffs that will begin on the first weekend of April. The Corpus Christi IceRays and the Wichita Falls Wildcats are battling for that fourth and final playoff spot and the right to face the Bulls in the first round of the post season. The IceRays have a two point cushion on fourth place after just getting two points against the Wildcats.
The next quest for the Amarillo Bulls is the North American Hockey League's overall regular season championship. The Bulls own a five point lead over the Central Division leading Austin Bruins. Both teams have six games remaining on their schedule.
Playoff Packages for the 2013 post season are now available to be purchased at the Bulls Office at 301 South Polk. Prices begin at just $40 for Silver, $52 for Red, $60 for Glass and $68 for Pit. Children's Tickets for those 12-and-Under run just $28.
For further information please call the Bulls Office at 806-242-1122. Don't miss your chance to cheer on your Amarillo Bulls from your favorite seat as they make their charge to the Robertson Cup National Championship Tournament for a third year in a row.
