The two teams combined for 24 power plays including 18 by Amarillo. Three fights also took place, including two at the same time in the final period.

Matt Johnson would round out the scoring, with a power play goal in the final seven minutes of the game. Luke Jenkins earned the assist.

The Bulls double up the Fighting Falcons in Shots On Goal 42-20 including 19-6 in the third period. Nikifor Szczerba posted the win in goal, making key saves especially in the second period.

The Amarillo Bulls jumped out to a 1-0 lead late in the opening period on a goal by Zac Smoot. The Fort Collins, Colorado native stole the puck in the offensive zone and made a great move on the Port Huron goaltender to score.
