
Bulls Win Game One, 4-3

Toledo, OH- Rocco Baldelli tripled to left scoring Jason Smith with the go-ahead run in the bottom of the seventh inning as the Bulls knocked off the Toledo Mud Hens, 4-3. The Bulls lead the best-of-five series, 1-0.
Durham got on the scoreboard first with three runs in the third inning. Paul Hoover and Baldelli singled. Jason Tyner followed with a double to right field scoring Hoover and Baldelli, then Ryan Freel doubled to left field scoring Tyner to make it 3-0 Bulls. Toledo responded with one run in the fourth inning on an RBI-single from Craig Wilson and two runs in the fifth inning on an RBI double from Craig Monroe and an RBI-groundout from Derek Nicholson.
RHP Luis De Los Santos (1-0) picked up the win allowing three runs on eight hits in six innings. RHP Rick Croushore picked up the save (1) with a perfect ninth inning. RHP Shane Loux (0-1) took the loss for the Mud Hens allowing four runs in seven innings. The Bulls continue their series against Toledo on Thursday night at 6:30 PM.
