AMARILLO, TX - After playing 12 road games since November 1st, the Amarillo Bulls are thrilled to be back at the cozy confines of the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. In fact, the Bulls will play the next eight games there that will take them through until the second weekend of January.
The home stand begins this weekend with a first place showdown against the Wichita Falls Wildcats. The clubs are currently tied for the lead in the South Division.
HERE IS A LOOK AT WHAT'S COMING UP:
BULLS RADIO SHOW TONIGHT: It's a big line-up of guests on the last Amarillo Bulls Radio Show before Christmas. Host Denis J. Puska has Head coach Dennis Williams as well as VP-General Manager Rick Matchett to talk the new game for the Sonic Sunday promotion. Former Bulls Team Captain and current Alumni John Rey (Robert Morris) makes a special appearance along with current Bulls goaltender Paul Berrafato. FRIDAY, DEC. 20 & SATURDAY, DEC. 21 VS. WICHITA FALLS WILDCATS, 7 PM: It's the first visit by the Wildcats to the Texas Panhandle to face the Amarillo Bulls. The two teams have met only one other time this season and that was way back in October.
SATURDAY - TOYS FOR TOTS TEDDY BEAR TOSS: Fans are encouraged to bring a new or gently used Teddy Bear or Stuffed Animal to the game and when the Bulls score their first goal throw the toys onto to ice in support of Toys For Tots.

NEXT JERSEY AUCTION JANUARY 3 & 4: The Amarillo Bulls will be holding their next jersey auction the weekend of January 4th when they host the Corpus Christi IceRays. That weekend the Bulls will wear special heritage jerseys courtesy of Amarillo Youth Hockey with a live auction immediately after the game on the Saturday.
WEEKEND REWIND:
TOPEKA ROADRUNNERS 3 - AMARILLO BULLS 1: All four goals were scored in the third period after a scoreless 40 minutes. Topeka raced out to a 2-0 lead only to see the Bulls cut the deficit to one goal when Carter Penzien scored on a delayed penalty from Brendan Vetter and Kyle Gattelaro. The Bulls pulled their goaltender in the final 20 minutes and surrendered an empty net goal. Goaltender Paul Berrafato stopped 27 of 29 shots he faced.
TOPEKA ROADRUNNERS 2 - AMARILLO BULLS 1: It was a valiant effort put on by the Amarillo Bulls but it fell short. After falling behind 1-0 in the first minute of the game, Roman Ammirato tied the game from Mike Davis. The RoadRunners scored the eventual game winner shorthanded midway through the second period. Collin Delia stopped 25 of 27 shots he faced.
