
Bulls Visit Brahmas To Begin Road Trip

THE MATCH-UP: Amarillo Bulls @ Lone Star Brahmas
LOCATION: NYTEX Center North Richland Hills Texas
GAME DATES: Tuesday, Nov. 5 and Wednesday, Nov. 6 -- 7:30 pm

THE SERIES: This is the first of 12 meetings this season between the Amarillo Bulls and the Lone Star Brahmas. The two teams have never met before. Four of the match-ups take place in December and another four in February.
BULLS NOTES: The Amarillo Bulls will utilize two of the three games in hand they have on the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees whom they are tied for first in the South Division. The Bulls also have games in hand on five other teams. In the goals against department, the Bulls rank second behind the Minnesota Wilderness which lead the way with 23. Amarillo has the second best winning percentage in the NAHL, behind the Austin Bruins at .800.
THE ROAD IS LONG: The road trip for the Amarillo Bulls will be the longest of the season with the duration being 13 days. The Bulls will visit three different cities including Corpus Christi and North Richland Hills for the first time this season. It's the second trip to Hidalgo that will end the road swing next weekend.
BRAHMAS' BITES: The Lone Star Brahmas have beaten three (Rio Grande Valley twice, Odessa and Topeka one each) of the six other South Division teams for their four victories this season. Six players on their roster were formerly with the Texas Tornado. Anthony Mousseau is tied for third among defenseman in the North American Hockey League with 11 points. The Brahmas, Amarillo Bulls and the Wichita Falls Wildcats are the most penalized teams in the NAHL.
