
Bulls, Tides Suspended

Durham, NC - Friday Night's game between the Durham Bulls and the Norfolk Tides has been suspended due to inclement weather with the Tides leading the Bulls, 6-1 after three innings. The game will be played as part of a double-header in Norfolk on Saturday, August 25th.
Following a one hour and seven minute rain delay, the game began with Norfolk jumping on top immediately. J.R. House started the scoring in the first with a two-run home run and Terry Tiffee hit an RBI-double to give Norfolk a 3-0 lead. Chris Richard put the Bulls on the board with an RBI-ground out in the bottom half of the inning, but Norfolk added two more runs in the second inning with an RBI-triple from Tike Redmond and an RBI-double from J.R. House. An RBI-single from Bo Hart in the third inning gave Norfolk a 6-1 lead before the rain returned and the game was suspended.
Durham heads on the road for two-game sets in Louisville and Indianapolis before returning home on Wednesday, August 1st to take on the Columbus Clippers. Tickets are available at www.durhambulls.com or by phone at (919) 956-BULL.
