
Bulls Sign Bjorn Krupp

The Belleville Bulls are pleased to announce the signing of defenceman Bjorn Krupp. Krupp was the Bulls second round pick in the 2007 OHL Priority Selection.
Krupp joins the Bulls following a season with United States U17 National Team Development Program, the top development program in United States. Krupp played the 2007-2008 season in the North American Hockey League while also participating in several international tournaments. In 43 NAHL games, Krupp recorded three assists and 40 penalty minutes before adding one goal in three playoff games.
Krupp also helped Team USA to second place finishes in the 2007 Under-17 Four Nations Tournament in Russia, the 2008 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in London and the 2008 Under-18 Vlad Dzurilla Tournament in Slovakia. The 6'2, 190 lb defender is the son of NHL All-Star and Stanley Cup Champion defenceman Uwe Krupp.
"We are extremely pleased that Bjorn and his family have made the decision to join our organization." said Bulls General Manager and Head Coach George Burnett. "We look forward to helping Bjorn continue his hockey and educational progression in Belleville."
Krupp participated in the Bulls summer orientation camp in July and will return for training camp next week.
