Belleville Bulls News Release
BELLEVILLE, ON - For the 27th time in their 30 year tenure in the Ontario Hockey League, the Belleville Bulls will be making an appearance in the OHL postseason. The Bulls square off with the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors in the first round that begins Thursday night at the Hershey Centre.
As part of their 30th Anniversary Celebrations, the Bulls have found a way to say thanks to their loyal fans for their support again this year with a very special and limited time playoff ticket offer that is being extended for the first two home playoff dates. Though fans are accustomed to seeing playoff ticket prices rise throughout the league, to celebrate their significant 30 year milestone, the Bulls are introducing the "30 Years of Cowbell" special thank you offer.
The Bulls will host the Majors on Saturday, March 26th in game two of the series and Tuesday, March 29th in game four. The Bulls' "30 Years of Cowbell" promotion runs until 1:05pm on Friday afternoon, 30 hours prior to game time on Saturday night. To get in on the offer, fans must commit to purchasing tickets to games two and four by the deadline to receive a 30% discount on their purchase. That's right, 30% off their ticket purchase!
"This season, 2010-11, we have seen an extraordinary show of loyalty from our fans in this region. Once again they have supported our youth movement and rebuilding program that has come with its ups and downs. So as a special way to end our year long 30th Anniversary celebration and to say a sincere "thank you" from our entire organization, we're offering something unique to those that will continue to put their support behind the Bulls and OHL hockey as we move into the playoffs" outlined Gord Simmonds, President and Governor of the Belleville Bulls Hockey Club.
The Quinte region based team has had a memorable 30th season in the OHL, holding several great events including the Belleville Bulls 30th Anniversary Celebration Tour that made stops in Brighton, Deseronto, Campbellford, and Stirling. The season was kicked off with a special weekend long alumni game and celebration of junior hockey in the region. The team honoured many of the key players that have helped Bulls fans make so many lasting memories. The celebrations will now conclude with this special two game 30th Anniversary opportunity for Bulls fans to be part of exciting OHL playoff action.
The Bulls hope to pack the Yardmen full of supportive fans for their playoff run and give the team an edge, building the energy it needs to compete hard with the Memorial Cup bound Majors as the OHL postseason gets underway.
Fans are reminded to get their cowbells and gold shirts out and get to the box office or order online before the 1:05pm DEADLINE on Friday March 25th so they don't miss this special 30th Anniversary limited time offer!
