THE TEAMS: Amarillo Bulls vs. Odessa Jackalopes
WHEN/WHERE: Tomorrow (Friday) night at 7 pm at Ector County Coliseum, Odessa Texas. Saturday and Sunday (New Year's Eve) at 7 pm at Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center.
BROADCAST OPTIONS: Tune into the action live on CBS Sports Radio 1440, online at www.amarillobulls.com and on PPV with Hockey TV beginning with the Bulls Warm Up Show at 6:40 pm on all three nights.
BULLS NEXT AT HOME PROMOTIONS: SATURDAY - is sponsored by Jimmy John's and when fans buy $5 in merchandise a portion will be donated to the TOADS organization (Type One Area Diabetic Support. SUNDAY - The Bulls 7th Annual New Year's Eve Game Presented By Budweiser. There will be special ticket pricing of $8 Silver or End Zone and $10 Red Level. The first 500 fans will receive party favors and there are also $1 hotdogs.

THE SERIES: The New Avenues Championship Belt Series continues with round three at Ector County Coliseum tomorrow night. The Bulls lead the series 2-0 after a win back on opening night and a second one in November. The two teams will also play one another Saturday and Sunday in Amarillo. In both games so far the Bulls have scored at least five goals while the Jacks have only managed three in each.
BULLS NEWS AND NOTES: New faces have arrived in Amarillo for the weekend as Nick Anderson who was picked up in the Alex Truscott acquisition will be in the line-up. Anderson has 15 assists in 23 games. The Bulls have also added a third goaltender with Trevor Micucci from the Minnesota Wilderness. Micucci has 46 games of NAHL experience where he has posted a mark of 20-15-4 -2 and a 2.89 Goals Average and a .917 Save Percentage. The Hamburg, NY native was 5-8-2-1 in 17 games for the Wilderness this season.
LET THE 2ND HALF BEGIN: The unofficial second half of the season begins for teams in the North American Hockey League and the Amarillo Bulls find themselves just three points back of the fourth and final playoff spot in the South Division. The Bulls have games in hand on everyone in the Division and will have an opportunity to make some of that up this weekend. In terms of scoring, the Bulls have a goal differential of plus six in the first 40 minutes, but a negative differential of seven in the third period. The Bulls are seventh in shots for with 33.14 and sixth in shots against with 28.32.
ACROSS THE SOUTH THIS WEEKEND: Action in the division gets underway tonight in Corpus Christi when the IceRays entertain the Shreveport Mudbugs in the first of two. Elsewhere, the Topeka RoadRunners host the Springfield Jr. Blues at Kansas Expo Center Landon Arena. The Lone Star Brahmas have the weekend off.
