
Bulls Look To Close Out Road Schedule On Positive Note Tonight

TOPEKA, KS - The Amarillo Bulls look for their fourth win in Topeka tonight (Thursday) when they take on the Roadrunners at 7 pm at the Kansas Expo Center-Landon Arena.
The road team has dominated the season series with the Bulls collected three wins and seven points in five games (3-1-1) in the state of Kansas. The Bulls locked up 2nd place and home ice in the first round of the NAHL South Division Playoffs last night with a 3-2 triumph over the RoadRunners.
Zack Smoot scored twice and goaltender Nikifor Szczerba was solid in net turning aside 16 of 18 shots he faced.
Two teams who traditionally dominate the shots on goal department had an off night as they combined for a total of 32 shots through 60 minutes.
Fans can listen to the action tonight live on ESPN1440 and www.amarillobulls.com, beginning with the Bulls Warm Up Show Presented by Wayland Baptist University at 6:45 pm. Denis J. Puska has all of the hard hitting action at 7 pm. The game is also available on Pay Per View courtesy of Fast Hockey and a high speed internet connection is required in order to view the game.
The Bull Pen at the Amarillo Civic Center will be a busy place this Saturday when the Bulls host the Texas Tornado at 7 pm on Street Scion Fan Appreciation Night. One lucky fan will have an opportunity to shoot to win a brand new car. Fans are also encouraged to register to win Game-Worn Jerseys in an Amarillo first 'Jersey Off Our Back' Promotion. Draws for those jerseys will be made throughout the night. Immediately after the game, the Bulls will be holding their first annual awards banquet in the Corral.
