Bulls Host Jacks Tonight & Tomorrow

AMARILLO, TX - The Amarillo Bulls look to extend their four game winning streak when they host the rival Odessa Jackalopes beginning tonight and again tomorrow night at 7 pm at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center.

Tonight is sponsored by KAMR and all tickets, excluding Glass and Pit Seats, are just $4 when purchased either at the Bulls Office located at 301 South Polk or over the phone at 806-242-1122. Friday's game is also not to be missed by fans as the two rivals from the 2012 NAHL Playoffs close out their two game series.

On the ice, the Bulls have been solid both offensively and defensively outscoring their opponents 22-7 in their last five games (4-0-1). The Bulls lead the NAHL in goals per game, while are second in goals against. Goaltenders Paul Berrafato and Collin Delia have been terrific in this stretch limiting opponents to just six goals in regulation time. Berrafato leads the NAHL in Goals Against Average with a mark of 1.14, and is second in Save Percentage at .937.

Rookie forward Hampus Gustafsson, who was selected as the NAHL South Division's 2nd Star Of The Week, was a force for the Bulls on their recent road trip in Wichita Falls by netting four goals and adding one assist for five points.

Amarillo sits alone in third place in the South Division with 11 points, trailing the first place Topeka Road Runners by six points and the second place Texas Tornado by five points. The Bulls have three games in hand on Topeka and one on the Tornado.
