Saturday - First Responders Night Co-Presented by AMS. There will be booths and displays on the concourse as well as vehicle parade during the first intermission. First Responders will receive free tickets, while family members can get a discounted rate of $8.

THE SERIES: It's the 7th and 8th meetings of the season between the Amarillo Bulls and the Lone Star Brahmas. The Bulls are 4-1-1-0 in the previous six meetings including a sweep back in December. Four games have been decided by two goals or less. The two teams will meet four more times in North Richland Hills next month.
ACROSS THE SOUTH-WHAT'S AT STAKE: There are three other games in the South Division this weekend as the Odessa Jackalopes visit the Shreveport Mudbugs at George's Pond Hirsch Coliseu. The two other games are up in Alaska as the Fairbanks Ice Dogs host the Topeka Pilots and the Corpus Christi Icerays visit the Kenai River Brown Bears. The Mudbugs trail the Lone Star Brahmas by two points for home ice and 2nd place, while the Corpus Christi IceRays have a two point lead on Topeka for the fourth and final playoff spot.
TRADE DEADLINE: Both the Amarillo Bulls and the Lone Star Brahmas made minor deals prior to the Trade Deadline. The Brahmas acquired speedy forward Zach Heintz, and the Amarillo Bulls picked up defenseman Matthew Smoliga from the Shreveport Mudbugs.
STATS ETC: Forward Logan Jenuwine leads the North American Hockey League in scoring with 68 points including 40 goals. He leads Samuel Solensky of the Johnstown Tomahawks by three points. Goaltender Jason Grande is fourth in wins with 17, and tied for shutouts with five. The Bulls and the Brahmas have combined for 18 games in overtime or shootout this season. The Topeka Pilots have 14 games that have gone past regulation to lead the league. The Bulls have trailed just five times after 40 minutes this season and their lone loss was the Lone Star Brahmas on opening night.
