Belleville Bulls News Release

BELLEVILLE, ON - Prior to puck drop on Sunday's afternoon match up against the Sarnia Sting, the Belleville Bulls recgonized one of their own. Peggy Burris devoted 33 years of service to the Belleville Bulls organization and the development of Bulls players.

Helping players when the team first joined the Ontario Hockey League through her position in Guidance at Quinte Secondary School, Peggy became the Educational Consultant for the Bulls and has remained in that role until this season.

Peggy has been very passionate about ensuring all Bulls players graduate and are eligible to move on to the post-secondary level of their choice. Her passion was clearly demonstrated as she remained the team's Educational Consultant for many years even following her retirement from the school board in 1993.

Being considered a leader at the league level, Peggy helped set policies with regards to education and has made an impact amongst her peers throughout the OHL.

Peggy has been awarded with life-time season tickets and a commemorative jersey with the number 33, representing the number of years she dedicated to the Belleville Bulls.

Congratulations and thank you Peggy!
