Bulls Get 2nd Chance To Close Out Series Tonight

April 9, 2011 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Amarillo Bulls News Release

FRISCO, TX - Second chances are something the Amarillo Bulls took full advantage of during the regular season. It's something that the Bulls hope to use on their side tonight (Saturday) when they take on the Texas Tornado in the fourth game of the Best-Of-Five South Division Semi-Final at 7:30 pm at Dr. Pepper Arena in Frisco.

At least nine times during the regular season and once when an opportunity to close out second place, the Bulls were able to seize the moment and collect victories. Last night the Texas Tornado wired home six goals to erase a 3-0 deficit and beat the Bulls 6-4. It was the third straight game where the teams combined for at least eight goals and the Tornado's first win against Amarillo at home in the last four tries. Despite the setback, Amarillo still leads the series 2-1. Dan McDougall, Joe Kozlak, Zack Smoot and Brooks Behling had goals for the Bulls. Special teams produced four of the eight goals, with each team scoring twice.

Fans can tune into the fourth game tonight (Saturday) live on ESPN1440 and www.amarillobulls.com, beginning with Prelude To The Playoffs Presented By Wayland Baptist University at 7:15 pm. Denis J. Puska brings you all of the heart-stopping action at 7:30 pm. The game is also available on Pay-Per-View courtesy of Fast Hockey and a high speed internet connection is required in order to view the game.

If a fifth and deciding game of the Best-Of-Five series is needed it would be played back at The Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center on Monday, April 11th at 7 pm.
