BULLS NEXT AT HOME: The Amarillo Bulls return home to face the Lone Star Brahmas on Friday, Dec. 19 and Saturday, Dec. 20 at 7 pm at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center. Saturday is the annual Toys For Tots Teddy Bear Toss Presented by Wal-Mart. Fans are encouraged to bring a new or gently used Teddy Bear or Stuffed Animal to the game and when the Bulls score their first goal, throw the toys onto the ice. Tickets are available at the Bulls Office located at 301 South Polk Civic Center Box Office and all Panhandle Ticket Outlets Including United Supermarkets or online at www.panhandletickets.com. THE SERIES: It's the fourth meeting of the season between the Amarillo Bulls and the Lone Star Brahmas. The Bulls have dropped three of the last four games with their lone win coming in the first meeting 2-1. Forward Cody Gylling leads the way with three goals while Kasper Emanuelsson has three helpers. Ludvig Larsson has seven assists to lead the Brahmas, while forward Eric Carreras has four goals.
SCHEDULING ODDITY: It's the third game of seven straight on the road for the Amarillo Bulls and the second time this month the Bulls will play the same team three times in a row. The Bulls are not done with the Lone Star Brahmas yet and the two teams will meet again in December in the Texas Panhandle. The Odessa Jackalopes and the Corpus Christi IceRays are the final two parts of the road swing remaining.
ONE GAME THIS WEEK FOR BULLS: There is just one game this week for the Amarillo Bulls as for the first time in franchise history they will enjoy the Thanksgiving Holiday Weekend off. The Bulls are 7-1 in Thanksgiving Day match-ups including five wins against the rival Topeka RoadRunners.
SPECIALTY TEAMS: Despite giving up two power play goals on Saturday night, the Amarillo Bulls penalty killing continues to be very productive allowing just five power play goals in the four games. Joey DiBenedetto's shorthanded goal in the third period was the second scored by the Bulls this season and first allowed by the Lone Star Brahmas.
BULLS NOTES: The Amarillo Bulls have led just once after 40 minutes of play this season on the road. Defenseman Jesper Synellius has five assists in his last four games.
