Bulls Enter into Agreement with Dukes

The Belleville Bulls are pleased to announce that they have entered into an affiliation agreement with the Wellington Dukes of the Ontario Junior Hockey League for the 2009-2010 season.

"Under the leadership of Marty Abrams and his support staff, the Dukes have established one of the elite junior hockey programs in Canada with a proven track record in the development of young players for the OHL", commented Bulls General Manager and Head Coach George Burnett. "We look forward to this exciting opportunity to work with the Dukes organization and feel that this will be an invaluable relationship for our continued success and for hockey fans in the Quinte region"

"The Wellington Dukes are thrilled to be affiliated with the Belleville Bulls and look forward to creating a strong partnership with the Bulls." commented Dukes General Manager and Head Coach Marty Abrams. "The OHL is the best developmental league in the world and Belleville is one of the top organizations. To be affiliated with the Bulls is great news for our organization and is a role we accept with pride and responsibility."

Over the past five seasons, fans throughout the Quinte Region have had the opportunity to witness the success of both the Bulls and Dukes. This includes three consecutive East Division championships for Belleville and back to back division titles for Wellington. Both teams have also reached their respective league conference finals in each of the past three seasons.
