Amarillo Bulls News Release
AMARILLO, TX - It's become a special tradition for sports fans in the Texas Panhandle on New Years' Eve. Whether it's been the Rattlers, Gorillas or now the Bulls, there has always been a hockey game to attend on the final day of the year.
That's the case tomorrow (Tuesday) night as for the third straight year the Amarillo Bulls will host a New Years' Eve game, this time against the Lone Star Brahmas at 7 pm at the Budweiser Bull Pen in the Amarillo Civic Center.
This game is sponsored by Budweiser and there will be party favors handed out during the night. As part of the festivities it's Family Four Pack and Bring A Buddy Night. For $39, fans can get four tickets, four sodas and four hotdogs, while for $20 it's two tickets, two sodas and two hotdogs. That package is available until 4 pm on Tuesday at the Bulls Office only.
The Bulls are unbeaten on New Years' Eve, 3-0 including two victories on home ice. After a 2-0 victory over the Lone Star Brahmas on Sonic Sunday, the Bulls look to make it two in a row and climb back into first place in the South Division.
The Bulls are in the midst of an eight game home stand and a stretch that consists of four games in seven days. After Tuesday night, the Bulls still have two games remaining versus the Corpus Christi IceRays (January 3, 4) and another two against the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees (January 10, 11).
Single game tickets are available at the Bulls Office located at 301 South Polk, Civic Center Box Office and all Panhandle Ticket Outlets including United Supermarkets. For further information on Group Rates, or Seven Game Flex Packs please call the Bulls Office at 806-242-1122.
