
Bulls and IceRays Resume Series Tuesday Night

WATCH PARTY: Fans can drop by Seven Grill and Bar located on Soncy Road in Amarillo and watch the games with other Bulls' fans.
THE SERIES: Tuesday is Game 3 of the Best-Of-Five South Division Semi-Final Series between the Amarillo Bulls and the Corpus Christi Ice Rays. Game four of the series will be played on Wednesday at 7 pm. If a fifth and deciding game is necessary it will be played on Saturday at 7 pm.
SERIES STATUS AND REWIND: The Best Of Five Series is tied 1-1 following the first two games in the Texas Panhandle over the weekend.
On Friday night the Corpus Christi IceRays scored two in the third period and went on to beat Amarillo 2-1. Hampus Gustafsson netted the lone Amarillo marker from Joe Grabowski and Ryan Cole.
In Game 2 on Saturday, the Bulls fired four goals in the first 40 minutes and went on to double the IceRays 6-3. Brady Ferguson notched a pair, while Hampus Gustafsson, Gage Christianson, TJ Sherman and Dan McNamara added singles. Paul Berrafato earned the win in goal.
BULLS NOTES: The Amarillo Bulls are now 7-3 in first round South Division playoff match-ups and 13-6 overall. The Bulls have fired three power play goals in the series but have only surrendered one. The two teams have combined for 70 minutes in penalties in the first two games. The Bulls have netted five of their seven goals in the first 40 minutes, while the IceRays have done all of their scoring in the final 20 minutes scoring seven times.
SOUTH DIVISION PLAYOFF UPDATE: In the other South Division Semi-Final Series, the No. 3 seed Texas Tornado posted two wins in Kansas against the Topeka RoadRunners. Texas defeated Topeka by identical 2-1 scores in the first two contests. Game three and four if necessary will take place Friday and Saturday night at Dr. Pepper Arena in Frisco, TX.
