
Bullfrogs Look for Fifth Straight Victory

Green Bay, Wis.- The Green Bay Bullfrogs will turn to Clayton Uselman tonight in Game 1 of their final series of the regular season.
Following Friday night's game cancelation against the La Crosse Loggers, the Bullfrogs will open up the first game of the series against the Wisconsin Rapids Rafters at Witter Field at 6:05 p.m.
The two teams have squared off against each other six times with the Rafters coming out with the victory in four of those contests.
The Bullfrogs come into tonight's game with a 41-28 overall record with a 19-15 mark in the second half of the season. Green Bay trails the Madison Mallards by 1.5 games for second place overall in the South Division. The Mallards will play two games today against La Crosse.
Wisconsin Rapids enters the contest 16-18 in the second half and 31-35 overall.
Green Bay will look to win their fifth consecutive game with Clayton Uselman on the mound, making his third appearance and second start of the season. Uselman made his Bullfrogs debut against the Rafters on July 28 in 2 2/3 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on zero hits and two walks with a pair of strikeouts.
Usleman picked up a no decision in his first start on Aug. 1 on the road against the Kalamazoo Growlers. He allowed three runs on eight hits with four strikeouts in a 4-3 loss to the Growlers.
The Bullfrogs will conclude their regular season on Sunday at 5:05 in Wisconsin Rapids.
