
Bulldogs Rookie Goalie Leads Hamilton to 5-2 Win in Windsor

HAMILTON, ONTARIO. In his first OHL start Sunday afternoon in Windsor, Zachary Roy made 41 saves leading the Bulldogs to a 5-2 win over the Spitfires.
Windsor took a 1-0 lead mid-way through the 1st period before Liam Van Loon (1) scored his first OHL goal at 13:01 to tie the game 1-1.
The Spitfires re-took the lead early in the 2nd, but from then on, it was all Hamilton. Mackenzie Entwistle (2) tied the game 2-2 at 7:07 with Ben Garagan (1) giving the Black and Gold the lead for good at 18:59.
Liam Stevens (3) gave Hamilton some breathing room at 4-2 early in the 3rd and then Matthew Strome (2) found the empty net at 17:52 to round out the scoring.
