
Bulldogs QB Antonio Davis in the Spotlight

DAYTON, OH- Due to his performance against the Cincinnati Marshals, Quarterback Antonio Davis was chosen by the NIFL as the Offensive Player of the Week.
For the week of the award, Davis completed 20 passes out of 34 attempts, and he threw for 227 yards. Davis also threw for four touchdowns in the home victory against the Marshals.
According to the NIFL website, Davis led the League in passing yards with 191 yards per game following week five.
During week six, the Bulldogs were unable to claim a victory against the Tennessee River Sharks. However, Davis threw six touchdown passes, meeting up with four different receivers. He also threw for 311 yards. Not only can Davis pass, he was also the lead rusher of the Tennessee game with 22 yards.
This Sunday, Davis and the rest of the Bulldogs will take on the Rapid City Flying Aces, who are currently rated number four on the NIFL's Massey Ratings. To come out and watch, please visit www.TicketMaster.com or the Nutter Center Box Office.
