HAMILTON, ONTARIO. The Ottawa 67's took home-ice advantage away from the Hamilton Bulldogs with a 5-4 thriller Sunday night to tie up the 1st round series 1-1.
The Bulldogs came out flying in the 1st period and it resulted in an early goal as Will Bitten (1) hammered home a rebound at 1:03 for a 1-0 lead.
Ottawa was much better in the 2nd period and got the only goal at 9:28 as the period ended 1-1.

The two team traded goals in the first 5-minutes with Justin Lemcke (1) tying the game at 2-2 at 4:48. Ottawa then jumped out to a 4-2 lead only to see the Black and Gold battle back to tie the game 4-4 on goals by Riley Stillman (1) and Brandon Saigeon (3) on the power-play at 16:56. The 67's then got a late power-play of their own with Sam Bitten (2) stepping up as hero for Ottawa with the game winning goal at 17:59.
