Bulldogs Battle Stars in Western Conference Finals

HAMILTON, ON - The Hamilton Bulldogs in conjunction with the American Hockey League and Texas Stars are pleased to announce the dates and times for the upcoming Western Conference Finals series between the âDogs and Stars. Tickets for Games 1 and 2 at Copps Coliseum are on sale now.
The Bulldogs defeated the Manitoba Moose in six games in their best-of-seven North Division Semi-Finals series before winning the North Division Finals series 4-2 over the Abbotsford Heat. The Texas Stars defeated the Rockford IceHogs in four games in their best-of-seven West Division Semi-Finals series and the Chicago Wolves in seven games in their best-of-seven West Division Finals series. The two teams will meet in the Western Conference Finals with Hamilton having home-ice advantage because the âDogs were the North Division and Western Conference regular season champions. The Stars finished the regular season in second place in the West Division with a record of 46-27-3-4 while Hamilton had a 1-1-0-0 record against Texas in the 2009-2010 regular season. The series will begin in Hamilton for Games 1 and 2 before heading to Texas for Games 3, 4 and 5 (if necessary). If Games 6 and 7 are needed, the teams will return to Hamilton to play them at Copps Coliseum. This will be the first time the clubs have met in the post-season as it is Texas' first year in the league.
The following are the dates, along with locations, and times for the second-round playoff series between the Bulldogs and Stars (all times eastern):

Game #2 - Sunday, May 16th - 2:00 PM - Texas at Hamilton (Copps Coliseum)
Game #3 - Wednesday, May 19th - 8:30 PM - Hamilton at Texas (Cedar Park Center)
Game #4 - Friday, May 21st - 8:30 PM - Hamilton at Texas (Cedar Park Center)
