Bulldogs Battle Moose In North Division Final

HAMILTON, ON - The Hamilton Bulldogs in conjunction with the American Hockey League and Manitoba Moose are pleased to announce the dates and times for the upcoming North Division Final series between the 'Dogs and Moose. Tickets for Games 1 and 2 at Copps Coliseum are on sale and all tickets are only $20.50.
The Bulldogs defeated the Oklahoma City Barons in six games in their best-of-seven North Division Semi-Final series while the Moose defeated the Lake Erie Monsters in seven games in their best-of-seven North Division Semi-Final series. The two teams will meet in the North Division Final series with Hamilton having home-ice advantage because the 'Dogs were the North Division regular season champions. The Moose finished the regular season in third place in the North Division with a record of 43-30-1-6 while Hamilton had a 6-0-0-2 record against Manitoba in the 2010-2011 regular season. The series will begin in Hamilton for Games 1 and 2 before heading to Manitoba for Games 3, 4 and 5 (if necessary). If Games 6 and 7 are needed, the teams will return to Hamilton to play them at Copps Coliseum. This will be the third time the teams have played each other in the second round and the fourth time the clubs have met in the Calder Cup Playoffs. They met previously in the 2003 Eastern Conference Semi-Final, the 2007 North Division Final and the 2010 North Division Semi-Final, where the Bulldogs were victorious on all three occasions.
The following are the dates, along with locations, and times for the second-round playoff series between the Bulldogs and Moose (all times eastern):
Game #1 - Thursday, April 28th - 7:30 PM - Manitoba at Hamilton (Copps Coliseum)
Game #2 - Sunday, May 1st - 4:00 PM - Manitoba at Hamilton (Copps Coliseum)
Game #3 - Tuesday, May 3rd - 8:30 PM - Hamilton at Manitoba (MTS Centre)
Game #4 - Wednesday, May 4th - 8:30 PM - Hamilton at Manitoba (MTS Centre)
*Game #5 - Friday, May 6th - 8:30 PM - Hamilton at Manitoba (MTS Centre)
*Game #6 - Sunday, May 8th - 7:30 PM - Manitoba at Hamilton (Copps Coliseum)

The Bulldogs will begin their second round series of the 2011 Calder Cup Playoffs against the Manitoba Moose on Thursday, April 28th at 7:30 p.m. at Copps Coliseum. Fans can tune in to all 'Dogs playoff games on the flagship station of the Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Network, 820 CHAM, and online on www.hamiltonbulldogs.com and www.ahllive.com. All playoff Hamilton Bulldogs broadcasts on AM 820 CHAM will begin with a pre-game show 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
