Bulldogs announce training camp roster

Hamilton Bulldogs News Release


The Hamilton Bulldogs announced today the hockey club's 2004 Training Camp roster. The Bulldogs 32 hopefuls, including some of the Montreal Canadiens top prospects, will join head coach Doug Jarvis and assistant coach Ron Wilson for the first on-ice session at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 29th at the new Haldimand County Caledonia Centre in Caledonia, Ontario. The Montreal Canadiens, the Bulldogs' parent club, have assigned 21 players to the Bulldogs including goaltenders Yann Danis and Olivier Michaud, defencemen Andrew Archer,

Jean-Philippe Cote, Mike Komisarek, Philippe Plante and Matt Shasby, and forwards

Benjamin Carpentier, Benoit Dusablon, Jonathan Ferland, Chris Higgins, Raitis Ivanans,

Andrei Kostitsyn, Michael Lambert, Christian Larrivee, Corey Locke, Duncan Milroy, Gavin Morgan, Tomas Plekanec, Marc-Andre Thinel and Cory Urquhart.

Last week, the NHL's Dallas Stars assigned four players to the Bulldogs. Those players are goaltender Dan Ellis, defenceman Trevor Daley, and forwards Antti Miettinen and Steve Ott.

A total of seven more players round out the Bulldogs 2004 Training Camp roster including defencemen Dan Jancevski, Jonathan Jolette, Derick Martin, James Sanford, and Gary Zinck, as well as forwards Eric Normandin and Marco Rosa.
