Schedule Under Construction
Last week, Mudbugs Owner John Madden and Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Scott Muscutt worked diligently on drafting the key dates for the upcoming 2007-2008 season of Mudbugs hockey. It begins the process of securing all 32 dates for the fall, winter and spring. The Finalized schedule will be released by the Central Hockey League in the upcoming weeks. This year's CHL All-Star Game will be held in Broomfield, Colorado , by the Rocky Mountain Rage.
Where Are they Now?
Some of the greatest memories in Mudbugs history were brought back to life with the assembly of the Mudbugs All-Decade team just this past season, but it's not just former players who've moved on to new jobs and locations. Former Mudbugs Athletic Trainer Bob Case relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio , in 2002. He now works as the trainer for the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL. Case was married on Saturday, June 30th, to his long time girlfriend. He worked as the Mudbugs athletic trainer from 1998 until 2002.
Junior Mudbugs
A brand new youth hockey organization will begin skating in the fall as the Junior Mudbugs hockey program will replace the program formerly known as BASAHA. If you have any immediate questions about enrolling your child in this program, please send and email to: jrmudbugsyouthhockey@mudbugshockey.com.
You can also call the information hotline at 318-221-0036. Early Bug registration for youth hockey this fall will take place on Saturday, August 4th from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Louisiana Boardwalk in Bossier City. Anyone who registers during Early Bug registration will receive 10 percent off their registration fee.
