New Mexico Scorpions News Release
[ RIO RANCHO, N.M.]-The New Mexico Scorpions are pleased to announce Scott Bushnell and Amy DeGroot have been added as sales executives. Bushnell and DeGroot both began their tenure with the Scorpions this week.
Bushnell brings to the Scorpions a wealth of sales experience. The former Oregonian worked with IBM for many years. Most recently, he was a top sales performer for AOL in Albuquerque.
In addition to sales, Bushnell's roots are in running political campaigns, including fundraising. He currently resides in Rio Rancho with his wife and children.
DeGroot arrives in New Mexico after graduating from Texas Tech University in May with an Exercise and Sports Sciences degree. The Austin, Tex. native is a life long hockey fan and previously was a Lubbock Cotton Kings season ticket holder.
With her arrival in the Scorpions' office, she is quickly learning to change her allegiance to Scorps Nation. In her spare time, DeGroot enjoys playing rugby.
"We are excited to bring these two new faces on board," said Scorpions' General Manager Rick Carden. "Scott and Amy are both passionate about the task at hand and will be great additions to our current staff."
Season tickets for the 2007-08 season are now available. Become a full season ticket holder for as low as $324. Every month one lucky season ticket holder will win a free, game-worn autographed Scorpions' jersey.
Payment plans are available to fit anyone's budget. Call the Scorpions' office at (505) 881-PUCK (7825) to find out how you can be a part of all 32 regular season home games starting this October. You don't want to miss your chance to watch the Scorpions drive towards the Ray Miron President's Cup.
