Buffalo Rapids camp opens next week

It's not just the fans that are gearing up for the Rapids' season to begin, Rapids training camp opens next week! Players will arrive in Buffalo, get settled in this week, and start their strength training at Body Blocks.

6'6" forward Carlton Brown comes to Buffalo from his hometown of San Antonio. He has played for Texas A&M. Brad Buddenborg, 6'5", is also a forward who hails from Garden City, Michigan and is known for his dunk shots. Also on the squad is Kevin Ross, a 6'9" forward from right here in Buffalo who has traveled the world playing hoops.

Three New Players are being signed this week and will be announced on Friday.

The Buffalo Rapids are a community minded team that will begin their Inaugural Season of play in the American Basketball Association in November. The team has created a Caring for Kids Program that will benefit kids from Big Brothers, Big Sisters, Camp Good Days, Boys and Girls Club, Roswell Park Cancer Hospital, Kids Escaping Drugs, and the MS Society.
