Bucks Will Wear Veterans Day Jerseys Thursday

LAREDO, Texas â The defending CHL Champion Laredo Bucks will wear Veterans Day jerseys this Thursday night as they host the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs. The jerseys will be auctioned off after the game. Also on Thursday the first 2,500 fans receive a stress puck courtesy of Doctors Hospital. In addition to wearing the Veterans Day jerseys on Thursday, the Bucks will be honoring veterans of all wars. An ROTC color guard from United South will perform on the ice during an intermission.
"We want to honor the men and woman who have helped make our country free," said Bucks President John Beckelhymer. "We understand that freedom only comes with a price and we thank these men and woman for what they do for us day in and day out."
On Saturday night when the Bucks host the Amarillo Gorillas, everyone over the age of 18 receives a coupon upon entry to the LEC. There will be three different types of coupons handed out, with the winning coupons selected during an on ice race that takes place during the first period intermission. The winning coupons can then be redeemed at a Texas Lottery table in the LEC concourse. Winners will receive a scratch off lottery ticket.
