Bucks Will Help With MDA Telethon

LAREDO, Texas – The 2004 CHL President's Cup Champion Laredo Bucks will be assisting with the 39th annual Jerry Lewis MDA Labor Day Telethon this Monday. For more information on the Bucks in the community contact Nicole Thompson at (956) 523-6586 or nthompson@laredobucks.com.

The telethon, which is celebrating its 18th year in Laredo, will take place from 6:40 a.m. to 6 p.m. this Monday at NBC Pro8news.

"This is such a worthwhile cause, anything we can do to help out we are more than happy to do," said Bucks Direcator of Community Relations Nicole Thompson.

The Bucks will present an autographed jersey to the ‘MDA Jailbird', Mike Barrera, who raised $2,311 at the MDA Lockup that was held on July 22nd.
