Bucks Visit Killer Bees

LAREDO, TX: The Laredo Bucks, of the Central Hockey League, are hitting the road Thursday afternoon to face their rivals, the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees, in the first of two exhibition games.
The Laredo Bucks will arrive in Hidalgo tonight where they will play the Killer Bees, at 7pm, at the State Farm Arena. This is the first exhibition game for either team this season. All 25 players on the Bucks training camp roster will attend the game, but only 18 will dress.
The Bucks will return back to Laredo following the game to prepare for their home game versus the Bees on Friday. The puck is scheduled to drop at 7:30pm, at the Laredo Energy Arena. All tickets, including season ticket holder seats, are ONLY $5. All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the United Way benefitting the South Texas Food Bank. The Bucks are also asking fans to bring a non-perishable food items to the game that will also be donated to the South Texas Food Bank.
