Forward Jeff Bes carried the puck in behind the net then passed to the slot where defenseman Phillippe Lauze streaked in and snapped the puck into the cage for a 1-0 Bucks lead at 5:30. It was the second of the season for Lauze. Three minutes later defenseman Dion Hyman fired a great lead pass ahead to forward Darryl Lloyd who went in on a breakaway and scored top shelf with a wrist shot high stick side at 8:30 to make it 2-0. Lloyd registered his sixth goal of the season. Later in the first the Bucks were at it again. Defenseman Steve Weidlich gunned a wrist shot from the top of the left circle that was stopped by Rio goalie Jeff Levy, but Bes was there to hop on the rebound and jam it home to make it 3-0 Laredo. It was the team leading twelfth of the season for Bes. Late in the period the Killer Bees scored when defenseman Sean Gillam scored on a shot thru traffic for a power play goal with just 8.9 seconds left in the frame.   In the second period the Killer Bees came out with some jump and dominated the opening minutes. Killer Bees forward Blaz Emersic cut in down the left wing and snapped in a wrist shot at 3:37 to bring Rio within 3-2 for the only goal of the period.   The Bucks took control in the third period. Lauze moved a pass across to forward Adam Paiement who tipped it into the net as he was falling down to make it 4-2 Laredo at 3:35. It was the eighth of the year for Paiement and extended his point streak to a career high six straight games. Forward Brent Cullaton wrapped up the scoring with an empty net goal, his eighth of the year, at 19:24. FINAL SCORE Laredo 5, Rio Grande Valley 2.   Bucks goalie Jeremy Symington stopped 24 of 26 shots to grab his fifth straight win and improve to 7-3-0. Levy allowed four goals on 30 shots and fell to 6-10-1. The Bucks went 0-1 on the power play, while Rio Grande Valley was 2-3.   For the box score of the Bucks game, use this link: http://www.pointstreak.com/prostats/print/gamesheet_full.html?gameid=135020     SKATE AT THE LEC
