WATERLOO,IA-The Waterloo Bucks certainly aren't having any difficulty adjusting to their realignment to the Northwoods League's North Division in 2012. The Bucks ran their winning streak to six to start the season with a 6-2 win over the St. Cloud Rox Monday night at Riverfront Stadium.

Waterloo got on the board first with a pair of runs in the bottom of the second inning. Sean Borman (St. Cloud State) led off with a single and scored two batters later on a sacrifice fly. A second runner, Davis Hendrickson (Illinois), scored on the same play due to a St. Cloud error.

Rox starter Andy Fagely (Concordia-St. Paul) kept his team in the game by pitching over five innings while giving up four runs on seven hits. The Rox offense got eight hits but could not string them together and did not score until the seventh inning.

With St. Cloud trailing 4-0 and one out in the seventh Tony Skjefte (Minnesota) reached on a walk. Ben Morgan (Georgia Southern) drilled a double over the head of Bucks centerfielder Benny Roberts' (Washington State) head to score Skjefte on a close play at plate.

Andy Henkemeyer (Minnesota) walked and set the stage for more dramatics. After a single and a groundout, Mark Rhine (Wake Forest) smacked a single that scored Martin but Henkemeyer was thrown out trying to score behind the Rox shortstop at the plate to end the rally. At the time Boo Vazquez (Pitt) was on deck with two hits under his belt on the night.

Waterloo added two more runs in the bottom of the eighth. The Bucks are now 6-0 on the season, while the Rox fall to 2-4. The Rox lock horns with the Bucks again on Tuesday night.
